Eugenia Roman & Emilia Marzi
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Eugenia Roman & Emilia Marzi
Mandarin the Witch has a very particular trade: she designs spells to create costumes. When a little bird watches her from the window with nothing to wear, she gets to work; using absurd ingredients—such as bull tracks, toad slime, and tiger claws—she brews her potion.
The text builds suspense around each ingredient, only to reveal the garment that appears as if by magic on the following page: shoes, trousers, a shirt, a hat.
